Visitors Welcome

Our facility is located approximately 10 miles south of Denton on highway 377 inside American Pet Spa & Resort. We are 42 miles from downtown Dallas and 33 miles from downtown Fort Worth.

The animals at Ranch Hand Rescue love visitors and making new friends. Our sanctuary is home to Horses, miniature horses, goats, sheep, geese, chickens, ducks, llama's, alpacas, pigs and even turtles and each has a special story to tell. After meeting our farm animal friends, visitors can spend some time in our pavilion relaxing or enjoying our facility.

Tour Times

The Sanctuary and rescue are only open to the public during specific times.

May thru Sept Every Thursday from 1;00 to 5:00 pm & Saturday from Noon to 5:00 PM
Sept thru Dec 31st Every Saturday from Noon to 5:00 PM

Adults: $2.00
Children under 12: $1
Children 3 and under: Free

Group Tours
Ranch Hand Rescue offers special tours for groups with 10 or more people - including schools, environmental and other clubs, and senior centers. If you are a teacher or group leader and would like to arrange a special tour, please call 940-464-0985 to set up an appointment. Or email us at info@ranchhandrescue.org
